Working in photography I believe in genuine presence with the person or people in the moment; a connection rises out of trust and it cannot be faked in a photograph. It is highly important to me to treat my subject(s) always with grace, both during and after the shutter’s click.
I hold a B.A. degree in photography and media culture and reside currently in Finland. My passion is in recording the human(e) state through disciplines of documentative photography. In my work I aim to bring issues and phenomena in our society to surface for closer examination. Being interested in counter cultures and the fringe in general, I enjoy working with people of all walks of life as well as spending time in the nature.
